David Steans

I’m David Steans, Managing Director of Nevada Sport. We are a Canterbury based business with Wholesale and Retail Solutions across New Zealand, operating for over 40 years. Our company has an Outdoor/ Lifestyle store on Cashel Street and enjoy being part of the new Christchurch. I am a passionate Cantabrian who wants to see success for local businesses in the Central City.

I enjoy the challenge of the CCBA to advocate for the Central Businesses and ensure safety and access to the city for all.

We meet regularly to drive footfall to the city through strategic and cost effective means. Ultimately, I want to be proud of the Christchurch that exists in the years to come. This needs to allow for current and future businesses to prosper.
