CCBA Newsletter - Spring / Christmas / AGM

Christmas is fast approaching and we are teaming up with the City Mission and other city partners to launch Christmas in the City. We are working on a series of activations throughout the City Centre and encourage you all to take part in whatever capacity you can.

For the first time Santa will be Punting down the Avon River from the Margaret Mahey playground right to the steps of The Terrace.

We will have a number of Elves that will be roaming throughout the event and this is a chance for you to sponsor an Elf to promote your business or your business area. Contact me if this is of interest to you.

There will be Face Painting for the children, choirs, brass bands and street performers to support the launch of Christmas in the City and the City Mission Christmas tree, which will be located at the Bridge of Remembrance end of City Mall. This is a substantial tree standing about 10 meters tall, stunning and will definitely attract visitors to come in to see it.

There will also be a 12 days of Christmas and there are going to be some awesome give-aways, but we would welcome any additional support from you or your business area. If you want to take part by donating some giveaways please drop me a line.
